RAK FTZ shines at Sheikh Saqr Programme for Government Excellence Awards

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) was honoured with four major prizes at the Sheikh Saqr Programme for Government Excellence Awards, held at the Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Centre recently.

After months of rigorous evaluation, RAK FTZ was honoured as one of the top four awardees in the category of Distinguished Governmental Department for the Year 2008. RAK FTZ was also distinguished for its continued commitment to excellent products and customer service, winning first position in the Mystery Shopper category. The RAK FTZ Information Technology Department, led by Director Jerry Williams, beat all other government departments to receive the top honour as Distinguished Organised Unit for 2008. Badreyya Suroor from the Quality Department was recognised as the best in the Applying Standards – Processes category.
