New directive/decision from RAK Immigration Authority

Effective 1st of June 2011
Please be informed that, per RAK Immigration Authority directive, any applicant applying for a visa transfer from RAK FTZ entity to another RAK FTZ entity would be required to get the medical examination and fingerprint carried out.
Documents required would be:
For Investor/Partner:
• Online Visa Transfer form Application signed by the authorized personnel with the new and previous company stamps
• Two copies of applicant's passport (valid for at least one year) with the residence visa page
• Two passport size colour photographs
• Original ID Card from the previous company
• Copy of the trade license of the previous sponsor (company) valid for at least two months
• Copy of the trade license for the new company valid for at least one month
For Non-Investor/Non-Partner:
• Online Visa Transfer form Application signed by the authorized personnel with the new and previous company stamps
• Two copies of applicant's passport ( valid for at least one year) with the residence visa page
• Two passport size colour photographs
• NOC to transfer the Visa from the current employer
• Copy of the Offer letter from the new employer
• End of Service Entitlement Benefit Form (to be signed in the presence of our legal officers)
• Original ID Card from the previous company
• *Qualification certificate (matching the position applied for & the activity of the company) attested & translated into Arabic by legal translators
• Copy of the trade license of the previous sponsor (company)
• Copy of the trade license for the new company valid for at least one month
• In case applicant’s visa position is ordinary labour: copy of lease deed for the labour accommodation is required instead of the qualification certificate
• In case applicant’s visa position is a driver: Copy of the UAE driving license & vehicle registration card in the name of the new company are required instead of the qualification certificate
• In case the applicant is a lady (un-skilled/semi-skilled): Undertaking letter on the company letterhead is required stating the address of the applicant
*For Non-Investor/Non-Partner position: In case the applicant is applying for visa transfer within RAKFTZ and the job position would remain the same in the new company, the attestation & translation of qualification certificate would not be required.
Charges applicable:
• For Investor/Partner (normal package) - AED 3870
• If opted for urgent entry permit an additional AED 1000 would also be applicable apart from the visa package mentioned above.
• If opted for both entry permit & visa stamping (Express Option) on urgent basis additional AED 2000 would be applicable.
• For Non-Investor/Non-Partner (normal package) – AED 4,670 (AED 2,670 towards visa package + AED 2000 for visa deposit)
• If opted for urgent entry permit an additional AED 1000 would also be applicable apart from the visa package mentioned above.
• If opted for both entry permit & visa stamping (Express Option) to be processed on urgent basis additional AED 2000 would be applicable.
If the passport is valid for one year or less, the residence visa stamped onto the passport would be only for one year.
