Academy Zone
RAK Free Trade Zone has established a dedicated facility where educational organisations can base themselves to offer academic programmes to the RAK Community. Educational organisations could manage their operations either at allocated building(s) or build their own campus at the assigned location in Ras Al Khaimah.
Main Benefits:
- Universities/colleges can conduct undergraduate or postgraduate programmes
- RAK FTZ can facilitate all necessary assistance and support for smooth functioning of the institutions
- Option for leasing or building the premises
- Easy procedures for setting up
Statistics on RAK:
- The total population of RAK is 250,000, out of which 50 per cent are UAE Nationals.
- Total number of students graduating from secondary school is 6,500 per year.
- At present there are 14 Universities and Colleges.
