New Balance Beach Run Series

Whether you are an ardent runner or not, you are welcome to join the New Balance Beach Run Series! This is the emirate’s first-ever beach run which will be held on The Cove Rotana Resort on 28 October 2016 at 3:00 PM. This is not a timed event so everyone can have fun running with their friends and family. There will also be a Festival Village where participants can enjoy good food, music, entertainment and activities for adults and kids.

Avail your ticket on or before 20 October to avail the on time registration promo of AED 139 per head for adults and AED 99 for kids. On 21 October, adult prices will go up to AED 159.

Mountain Festival

Are you seeking to experience living in the wild for a day or two? The Annual Moutain Festival is perfect for you! Organised by Challenging Adventures, a provider of a variety of outdoor activities in the UAE, the event features wide-ranging exciting happenings such as rock climbing, archery, low ropes, arts and crafts, den building, cultural show, majlis trek and hot spring swimming.

The Annual Mountain Festival is happening from 27 to 29 October 2016. Entry to the festival costs AED 100 for adults and AED 70 for children. If you are interested in experiencing overnight camping, tent hire is available for AED 50. BBQ dinner and breakfast, as well as additional activity vouchers are also offered for additional costs.

Dubai Kizomba Beach Festival

One of the most amazing Dubai dance festivals is coming to Ras Al Khaimah! To be held in Bin Majid Resort from 27 to 30 October 2016, Dubai Kizomba Beach Festival invites you to unleash your inner child and dance like there is no tomorrow. The beach party will feature creative and passionate DJs, artists, and dance instructors who will keep you on your feet all night.

UAE Innovation Week

The UAE Innovation Week is an annual distinguished event held during November. The weeklong festival is celebrated all throughout the country with the aim to support the government’s strategies towards adopting innovation as a core element in shaping the future and enhancing global competitiveness.

From 20 to 26 November 2016, government and private companies, as well as educational institutions will exhibit their innovative products and services. In Ras Al Khaimah, the event will be held in RAK Exhibition Centre, Mina Al Arab, Al Marjan Island and Saqr Park. It will feature Innovation Conferences, Innovation Shows, Innovation Competitions, Innovation Award, and so much more.

Awafi Hill Climb

The Awafi Hill Climb is one of the biggest events held in the emirate during December until January 2017. It gathers over 10,000 motorsport fans from the UAE and across the region annually. The three-week tournament presents high-profile off-road drivers with various race obstacles including a massive sand dune.

The motorsport event is a part of the Awafi Festival - which features a number of sporting championships. In the previous years, football, jiu-jitsu, arm wrestling, and bench press championships were among the highlights of the festival.
