RULES AND REGULATIONS
A basic set of rules and operational provisions have been set by the RAK FTZ authorities in order to guarantee fair and equal treatment of all investors, employees and businesses operating within the zone.
These provisions cover the following areas of business operation:
- Operational provisions
- Licenses and lease provisions (type of licenses, eligibility for obtaining a license, and license renewal rules, lease and sub-lease provisions)
- Activities and operations allowed at RAK FTZ (including customs rules)
- Construction rules and building procedures
- Park regulations (inspection of leased premises, building insurance, utilities supply, waste regulations and driving/vehicles rules)
- Labor rules (working hours, employment and visa rules, work contract rules, staff employment provisions, labor compensation and accommodation)
- Security rules
- Termination of lease and license provisions
- Sanctions for the breach
